Raffertie
www.mixcloud.com/thefatclub/raffertie-th..._term=cloudcast_link
“Having released on Planet Mu, Black Acre and remixed the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Starkey and Cocknbullkid our tenth Fat! Club mix contributor consistently amazes us with his diverse productions. Over the past couple of years Raffertie has not only become one of our favourite producers but one of our favourite DJs so we’re proud to this new mix from the man behind the scissors, including tracks he tells us are to be released on his own label in the not too distant future as well as brand new tracks from Zinc, Sbtrkt and of course the obligatory Raffertie edits.”
Bar 9

“Leicester dubstep duo BAR9 are giving away this rather large remix of pop rockers Goldhawks via their SoundCloud. The pair have been busy of late, remixing the likes of Noisia and Example (watch the video) and you can stream their new remix of Sky Ferreira's 'One' and the epic, if unimaginatively titled, 'Piano Tune' scheduled for release on Audio Phreaks.”

One railway arch (Factory Arch) is going to become a spectacular arena on large events.

The second railway arch (Factory Terrace) is where clubbers chill out, sit down and talk to friends. Djs will perform here in the Summer months.

A new room called Factory P.O.D will showcase futuristic L.E.D lighting and visual djs, with music Djs performing from a booth high up in the wall!

This is the end of an era for regular Factory Events shows at the old Factory Club space.

It is however exciting times as this move heralds a new beginning for Custard Factory revellers.

Hostage

Hostage, is always hard at work in the clubs and in the studio manufacturing tough electro beats that span a wide spectrum of musical styles with devastating dancefloor accuracy. Over the last couple of years his raving pilgrimage has taken him all over Europe, US, Asia and Australia bringing a heady mix of rave, electro and house to the bass-hungry masses. 2009 saw a rapid rise into the limelight through much increased BBC Radio 1 support culminating in a live and explosive Radio 1 Essential mix with Annie Mac in January 2010.

DC Breaks

Responsible for some of our favourite remixes over the past few months, from Rox to Tinie Tempah. They release a hefty six tracker on May 3rd on Futurebound’s Viper Recordings. The ‘Halo EP’ is a goldmine, comprising an impressive collection of guaranteed dancefloor smashes which they dish out in full effect during their 6 deck drum and bass showcases. Did you check out their guest mix on Fabio and Grooveriders Radio 1 show? Huge!

Funtcase

His productions include ‘Gorilla Flex’ and ‘Make our day’. Futuristic dubstep filth!

www.myspace.com/funtcase

Cookie Monsta

Produces the most barbaric grimey dubstep that has ever faced humankind!

Get Carter

Hot property at the moment! Energetic resident Dj of both the Custard Factory and Gatecrasher! Similar in style to Annie Mac and fuses electro, techno, dubstep and Dnb in his sets. Has a strong (at times mad!) following of clubbers having played regularly at these two respected clubbing venues.

We have teamed up with 6 other promoter brands to ensure that this party is simply unmissable. Shout outs to Early Doors,Class A Recordingz, Twisted, Fusion, 1210 Dj Society, Brumski for their hard work in making this event the talk of the town.

TECHNO NOTICE presents

EAT STATIC LIVE

Friday 26th March

The Custard Factory

Eat Static were formed in 1989 by Merv Pepler & Joie Hinton, then drummer & synth player for the legendary band Ozric Tentacles. They quickly made a name for themselves on the Megadog “live” techno scene of the early 90s playing alongside the likes of Orbital, Underworld & Aphex Twin. They were the first signings to Megadog off shoot Planet Dog Records, releasing their debut album ‘Abduction’ in 1993. Since then they have played hundreds of gigs worldwide and became one of the most respected and spectacular live dance acts around. They have been voted ‘Best Dance Act’ in the NME, achieved a top twenty album, headlined the first ever dance tent at Glastonbury Festival in 1995 and recorded two Peel Sessions. Whilst essentially a sci-fi influenced, trance / techno outfit, they have also incorporated drum and bass, breakbeat, latin, garage and ambient styles into their sound at various stages.

ALIX PEREZ
GET CARTER
+ 16 OTHER DJs!

Drum n Bass / Dubstep / Electro / Fidget

Alix Perez

North London based DJ/producer Alix Perez is one of the strongest young producers in the Drum and Bass scene and undoubtedly one of its most prolific up and coming DJs. Already with a number of releases on established labels such as Shogun Audio, Liquid V, Bassbin, Creative Source, Horizons, Progress, Brigand and Fokuz, there aren't many drum and bass DJs on the circuit without a Perez tune in their bag.

Originally from Belgium, 22-year-old Alix is receiving bookings worldwide from Paris to Toronto. With his smooth yet sophisticated selection, drawing from all the latest dubs, he does not fail as a DJ. Alix also has numerous tracks play-listed on BBC 1Xtra and receives heavy support from respected players within the scene: from Bukem to Bailey, he has been repped as "the one to watch" and "representing the future of Drum and Bass."

Get Carter

Custard Factory favourite Get Carter supports in the main room. When not programming the events diary at the Custard, Get Carter plays regularly in the Orange room at Gatecrasher’s weekly Friday event and is also the head honcho of the 2000+ capacity Stupid Underground shows.

The Brands

Fusion, 1210 & Brumski recently came together to host The Kitchen at The Annual January Stupid Underground Free Party. With a mash up music policy encompassing Drum n Bass, Dubstep, Electro & Fidget they kept The Kitchen rammed all night. This time they are taking over the whole venue. Prepare for mayhem.
