The boys are back in the Gramaphone basement on Friday July 16th for another night of charity debauchery and this time it's our first birthday!! We'll be covering the place enough glowsticks to make Altern8 hang up their boiler suits in shame, crazy visuals, facepaints, art displays, cd giveaways, summer vibes, music to bring a smile to your face (and a wobble to the floor) and best of all it’s for a really good cause so guilt free clubbing!

Previously we've seen 2 Bit Thugs, Pirate Soundsystem and The Urchins rock the decks, this time for a birthday special your hosts Tomas Por Culo and Monsieur Coatez will be joined by a number of awesome special guests, including Heducation bossman DJ Mylz and a couple of super secret surprise djs....

So far we have managed to raise £2700 for The Lily Foundation. Amazing! Inspired by the history of London's dance scene PS's constantly evolving sound draws on rave, grime, dubstep and garage and turning these influences into their own brand of house, with heavy basslines aimed squarely at the dancefloor.

A string of remixes for some of the best underground acts has ensured them a solid place pioneering the new sound coming out of London. Artists that have been through the Pirate rinse machine for official remixes are Hadouken, Wiley, Si Begg, DZ, Drop The Lime, Bonde Do Role, Murderbot, D-Code and Zomby. Pirate Soundsystem remixes have had heavy support from everyone from Sinden to Annie Mac to Rob Da Bank to Foamo to Mista Jam. Recently picked up by WIDE Records, Pirate Soundsystem will be releasing a series of original bass music EPs for you test your subwoofers with.

On support will be RhythmJunky bringing that funk old school house flavour, with your hosts for the night Tomas Por Culo & Monsieur Coatez wobbling the floors as ever with a varied mix of electro, fidget, dubstep, breaks & dnb all in aid of The Lily Foundation and The MS Society of Great Britain & Northern Ireland.
